HDM's manufacturing processes are mapped  in accordance with lean manufacturing principles. Our established production lines along with cellular manufacturing concepts reduce throughput times, maximize efficiency and productivity, and promote quality. Our lean manufacturing principles, cellular production lines, many years of experience, and our outstanding production team provide our customers with a competitive edge.

Capabilities:

• 1" to 6" bore cylinders
• Cylinders up to 120 inches in length
• Operating presures up to 5,000 PSI 

Equipment:

Automated Tube and Rod Machines

HDM's 4 Bardons and Oliver tube and rod machines set the standard for the industry for state of the art equipment. This equipment will machine your cylinder rods and tubes complete from 24 ft lengths.

Horizontal Lathes

HDM's 16 Okuma CNC lathes with automatic loading demonstrate that we only purchase quality precision equipment to machine your component parts.

Machining Centers

Our 7 Okuma machining centers and pallet changers are another example of our commitment to efficiency and productivity.

Welding

Our welding processes are certified by an independent third party.  Our certified welders and automated welding equipment allow us to consistently weld quality products to meet the demand of the most rugged applications

Test Facilities

All cylinders are 100% tested on one of our custom built test stands to agreed upon test specifications.

Paint Facilities

Our paint line allows us to paint over 300 cylinders at a time with durable, high quality finishes as required by our customers' demanding paint specifications.
