HDM custom designs and manufactures 1" to 6" bore double acting cylinders to meet the requirements of your application. Standard double acting cylinders accommodate operating pressures up to 3,000 PSI.

Piggyback:
Our piggyback cylinders are designed to accommodate applications that require additional stroke and require consistent extension and retraction speed.

Rephase:
Our rephase cylinders are designed to synchronize the extension and retraction of two or more cylinders. These cylinders are custom designed to meet the specific requirements of our customers' application.

Aluminum:
HDM is the leading global manufacturer of aluminum hydraulic cylinders. These cylinders are very durable, lightweight and used in highly corrosive environments. The aluminum cylinders are rated to accommodate operating pressures up to 3,000 PSI.

Double Rod End:
HDM manufactures double rod end cylinders for a variety of applications that require push and/or pull force from both ends of the cylinder.

Integrated Valving:
Many of our cylinder designs have integrated valving including counterbalance valves, pilot-operated check valves, sequencing valves and thermal relief valves as required to meet the performance requirements of our customers' applications.

Linear Feedback:
Linear feedback devices can be internally or externally mounted to provide precise cylinder position. Our customers use these cylinders for accurate positioning and velocity control of their system.

Heavy Duty:
Our heavy duty cylinders are designed to meet the requirements of rugged applications including sideloading, operating pressures up to 5,000 PSI, pressure spikes up to 10,000 PSI, and high shock and vibration levels.

Locking:
HDM designs and manufactures locking cylinders for applications that require a mechanical locking system. Our mechanical locking features are integrated into the design of the cylinder.

Screw Actuators:
HDM also manufactures hydraulically driven screw actuators that are custom designed for applications required to move up to 10,000 lbs. or more at speeds of 100 in./min. The acme screw has mechanical self locking capability in any position.
